The policy provides “All Risks” protection for the Insured’s plant and equipment, including loss or damage caused by theft, vandalism, fire, storm, flood and whilst in transit. It may also be extended to cover the Insured’s legal liability for loss of or damage to hired-in plant under hiring agreements and to cover continuing hire charges that arise following a loss.
Owned plant insured across the UK, including transit by road and rail; excludes sea and air transit.
Hired in plant covered on a legal liability basis.
Calculated on the total market value of owned plant and the estimated annual hire charges for hired in plant.
Continuing hire charges payable following loss or damage.
Option to include cover for plant while hired out.
